WHAT IS VIRTUAL YOGA?

A yoga series for those who are new to yoga or want to see yoga through  new eyes

Do you enjoy practicing yoga from your home? Are you not ready to practice indoors at a studio? Is the weather too cold for you to practice yoga outdoors? Or do you just enjoy practicing yoga with me and want to have different options on how to practice? If you answered YES to any of these questions, then Virtual Yoga is for you!

I truly feel that the yoga practice is for everyone. Whether you are looking for inner peace or improved flexibility, yoga can support you in your goals. Regardless of your age or fitness level, yoga has the power to calm your mind and strengthen your body. When we move our body into different poses, we connect movement and strength to the rhythm of breath and our state of mind. Integrating the mind and body with the breath helps us direct our attention inward and be in the present moment. My goal is that you walk out of each class understanding something new about your body while cultivating self-reflection. Rather than providing a right or wrong way of doing something, I provide options for you to experience and then reflect, to make decisions about what’s appropriate for you, which develops self-awareness.

 

I am so excited for this 6 week virtual yoga immersion. All classes are filmed in advance, and each week you will receive a new class to practice with as many times as you want on your own timeframe. The classes will be yours to own forever, so you can go back to them as many times as you want. This immersion is for those who are brand new to yoga, as well as for those who have practiced before but want to learn to see yoga through a new lens.
